Arriving to Saudi
Upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, you will have various options for travel to Makkah.
- Haramain High Speed Train, which has a dedicated station conveniently located adjacent to the airport.
- Taxis
- Shuttle buses depart every two hours from 10 am to 10 pm.
When arriving by plane, you should do your Ihram and recite the Talbia either prior to take off or upon reaching the Miqat while on board the aircraft.
Important information
Before you arrive at the Haram, ensure you have obtained your Umrah permit, which you can acquire through Nusuk.
- A pilgrim arriving from abroad is free to travel between Makkah, Medina, and other cities in the Kingdom during their stay.
- The duration of stay with an Umrah Visa is 90 days.
- Umrah is permitted for individuals aged five and above.
- A visitor can reach Medina via the Haramain High Speed Train.
