1. Waiver details for domestic flights

  • Waiver period: till 30 June 2020.
  • Cancel booking with the option to keep the passenger Ticket/EMD as credit valid to be used in the same route and class of service and same RBDs for the new date of travel and without collecting fees for one time only with collecting fare difference if any (The ticket is valid for one year considered only from the commencement of the specified date of travel ticket).
  • Changing the starting point or final destination to the nearest destination in the same area without fees for one time only with collecting fare difference.
  • Ticket or EMD fees must be apply.
  • Reissue / Go-show without fees for one time only with collecting fare difference if any, on the same class of service and same RBDs.
  • Re-associate all ancillary service EMD without fees for one time only.
  • It’s not allowed to change voluntary for (Saver) tickets.
  • No-show fees will be collected in case the booking was not canceled.
  • It is allowed to change Alfursan tickets without fees for first time, and apply the fees and condition for Alfursan tickets when make another changes.
  • It is allowed to refund without fees for all EMDs & tickets confirmed booking of travel during the airport closure period from 21 MAR 2020 till 30 MAY 2020.

2. Waiver details for international flights

*Tickets expired during the Coved-19 pandemic period can only be refunded before 31 December 2021 where it is not allowed to accept any request for refund or utilization of tickets which have expired after the date of 31 December 2021.

2.1 TICKETS/EMDS ISSUED BETWEEN 24 JAN 2020 TO 27 APRIL 2021:

After Sales Service (Re-issue / Re-booking / Re-routing)
  • Tickets issued between 24 Jan and 18 Dec 2020 are exempted from fare difference collection for one time only with the permission to change multiple times without fees for confirmed bookings up to 31 Dec 2021.
  • Tickets issued after 18 Dec 2020, it is permitted to change multiple times without fees for confirmed bookings up to 31 Dec 2021 and fare difference to be collected if any.
No-Show

Waiving of all applicable conditions and rules for one time only in case of no-show and not canceling the booking.

Refund

Refund EMDs & Tickets without fees (except for E3 security fees, non-refundable taxes, and airline fees), in involuntary cases caused by SAUDIA, Refund full ticket, EMD according to the original method of payment.

  • All Waiving bulletins are not applicable to evacuation tickets.
  • All Waiving bulletins are not applicable to tickets of SAUDIA 75th anniversary campaign.

2.2 TICKETS/EMDS ISSUED FROM/AFTER 27 APR 2021 UNTIL 01 NOV 2021 AND TRAVELLING PERIOD FROM/AFTER 27 APR 2021 UNTIL 31 DEC 2021:

After Sales Service (Re-issue / Re-booking / Re-routing)
  • It has been decided that it is permitted to change multiple times without fees for confirmed bookings up to 31 Dec 2021 and fare difference to be collected if any.
  • The Guest can keep the ticket amount as (voucher) valid for utilization (for all RBDs). This should be done if the guest cancelled the booking before the departure date.
  • The travel date for outbound and inbound flight must be within the application period to grant the waiving.
No-Show

Apply No-show conditions and rules when not cancelling the booking.

Refund
  • Voluntary Refund: apply all fees and conditions.
  • Refund is permitted for Tickets/EMDs in case of failure to travel due to changes in government’s restrictions in regards of COVID-19 in which may affect the guest travel plans. This request must be supported by an official local civil aviation bulletin from the concerned country.
  • In involuntary cases caused by SAUDIA, Refund full ticket, EMD according to the original method of payment.

2.3 TICKETS/EMDS ISSUED FROM/AFTER 02 NOV 2021 UNTIL 31 DEC2021 AND TRAVELLING PERIOD FROM/AFTER 02 NOV 2021 UNTIL 31 DEC 2021:

After Sales Service (Re-issue / Re-booking / Re-routing)
  • Changing multiple times without fees and fare difference to be collected if any (Provided that the changes must be more than 2 days before flight departure date).
  • Applying all conditions, fees, fare difference to be collected if any when changing within 2 days from departure date.
  • Cancelling booking and keep the ticket is prohibited .
  • The travel date for outbound and inbound flight must be within the application period to grant the waiving.
No-Show

Apply No-show conditions and rules when not cancelling the booking.

Refund

  • Guests must check their eligibility for travel to any country and confirm the accuracy of the information about the conditions and guidelines required for travel from the official and authorized sources, and obtain the required permits and/or permissions, if needed.
  • Conditions and guidelines are subject to frequent changes without prior notice.
  • Guests must obtain a PCR certificate from an accredited examination center.

2.5 COVID -19 EVACUATION TICKETS:

  • All waiving bulletins are not applicable to evacuation tickets.
  • All involuntary change and Refund regulations and procedures are applicable to evacuation tickets.
  • Apply the procedures for guests who are refused for travel due to suspected infection or infected with COVID-19.

3. Waiver details for unaccompanied minors tickets

  • No ticket issuance for unaccompanied minors under the age of 15 years.
  • Waiver period: From 06 MAY 2020 to 17 NOV 2021
  • Refund without fees for pre-issued tickets valid for travel during suspension period.
  • Applicable on all international and domestic flights.

4. Waiver details for Guests who are refused for travel due to suspected infection or infected with COVID-19

In case Refusal for travel due to Suspected infection of COVID-19 with an approved letter received from the relevant authorities at the airport confirming the situation, then, In this case, the guest can choose one of the following options:

  • Refund of the ticket (according to the original payment without fees).
  • Re-validation to the same final destination (class of service and RBD must be the same), without charging fee for one-time only.
  • Re-issue to the same destination without fee for one time only, fare difference shall be collected if any.
  • Change the itinerary to any destination (based on guest request) without fees With collection of fare difference if any and for one time only.
  • Applicable on all SAUDIA domestic flights and international flights originating from Saudi Arabia.
  • Effective period: Immediately and until further notice.

Guests infected with or suspected of being infected with COVID19 who had undergone a medical examination and received a conformation text message, within 14 days period before/after the flight date they will be offered to choose one of the following alternatives:

  • Refund of the ticket (according to the original payment without fees).
  • Re-validation to the same final destination (class of service and RBD must be the same), without charging fee for onetime only.
  • Re-issue to the same destination without fee for one time only, fare difference shall be collected if any.
  • Change the itinerary to any destination (based on guest request) without fees With collection of fare difference if any and for one time only.
  • Applicable on all SAUDIA domestic flights and international flights originating from Saudi Arabia.
  • Effective period: Immediately and until further notice.
