Miles Types:

ALFURSAN member has two types of miles in his balance, Tier Miles and Rewards Miles. ALFURSAN member will earn miles in both types depending on his / her travel and usage of the services provided by ALFURSAN business partners.

1. Tier Miles:

Miles earned by travel only on SAUDIA or Sky Team partner flights, calculated based on actual flight distance and class of travel and accumulated within one calendar year (from 1 January to 31 December), It is the main indicator to determine the membership level and according to your annual membership level, your membership level is upgraded * from Blue to Silver (Elite) and from Silver (Elite) to Gold (Elite Plus).

* Moving to a higher level with ALFURSAN membership depends on achieving the required membership level miles or achieving the number of eligible international flights per level.

2. Reward Miles:

Miles earned by travel or by our Air or non-Air partners. It is a reward for traveling on SAUDIA or Sky Team partners. In addition, Reward Miles are earned by utilizing the services of ALFURSAN Business Partners. You can redeem your Reward Miles faster when you move to Silver (Elite) or Gold (Elite Plus) where you are awarded additional points depending on your membership level. The more reward miles you have, the more chance you will have to redeem them for free tickets on SAUDIA flights or Sky Team partners or redeem them to upgrade your flights on SAUDIA flights only.

Example: The following table shows how to earn membership Tier and Reward miles when traveling on SAUDIA flights from Jeddah - Dubai in the Economy class:

Below table to illustrate earning miles if the member of the ALFURSAN hold the Silver level (Elite) and traveled on the route (Jeddah - Dubai) * on the economy class.
ALFURSAN member will earn both types of miles as follows:

- 1048 Miles are added to the membership Tier Miles, which are the actual Miles of economy Class (Y).
- 1310 Miles added to the bonus Miles balance (1048 Miles of actual flight + 262 Miles (25% additional Miles for Silver Elite level))

Bonus Miles based on membership Tier and class of travel:

The more you travel, the more you have the chance to upgrade your membership, and get more Reward Miles. Silver members (Elite) earn 25% extra bonus miles and Gold Plus (Elite Plus) members earn 50% extra Bonus Miles from the total Miles earned (including Miles for Travel Class), are credited to Reward Miles.

Your travel on SAUDIA domestic and international flights will give you bonus miles according to the membership level as shown in the following table:

ALFURSAN Reward Miles are valid for three years from the end of the calendar year in which you earned them. For example, when you earn 1,000 miles on March 10, 2018, these miles are valid until December 31, 2021.
